Mac team ignoring HDTV issues?

I rarely resort to bothering the CS folks, but this has finally irritated me to the breaking point. I purchased my HD5770 so I could play at good settings at my monitor's native resolution, 1920x1080. Is the monitor an HDTV? Yep. HDTVs are merely LCD monitors with a tuner and inputs. Yet WoW can't seem to handle it. The OS can, but not WoW.

I opened the thread below to try and get some help with it, but just like with the 8800GT + HDTV 1080p issue, it's being ignored/swept under the rug. I've given detailed specs, the steps I took to try to resolve the issue (workarounds), and even went so far as to see if the 10.6.5 drivers fixed the issue (they don't). And what did I get for my efforts? Not a peep. Nothing. Zilch. Zippo. Nada.

Do you really only want us playing on tiny "computer" monitors? if so, then speak up.

I've heard many a Blizzard rep complain about our lack of tolerance. Well, guess what? It's a two way street. I have a genuine issue, well documented, 100% reproducible, and it's like I'm invisible. Yet we have people screaming the equivalent of "OMG it's broke! halp!' in other threads that get tons of attention.

If you're trying to figure out why so many users get angry, being ignored is a surefire way to get very negative attitudes from those seeking help or trying to resolve an issue. I troubleshoot for other people. I fix stupid more often than I'd like to (e.g. some numbnut got his computer invaded by virii/trojans and I clean up the mess). I may not always remember every last technical term, but I know how to use my equipment. i don't get paid for helping others. I do it out of kindness. It's who I am. So when somebody who does get paid to do tech support ignores me, especially for this long on a rather aggravating issue, I don't take too kindly to it.

I know what it feels like to deal with customers as a tech support fellow. Those pro bonos I do often gripe at why it isn't fixed yet, when I've only had a small amount of time to look at it. It's more often thankless than not. I do what I do because I like helping others more than most things in life. But even somebody like me needs help once in a while, and when I can't get any help because I'm being ignored...well, how do you suppose you'd feel in my place?

I'm not trying to rant and rave, but I honestly do not feel like I'm a valued customer. I as a customer am not always right, despite the age old mantra. But I do my best, and when I ask for help, I don't just go "it's broke, fix it!". I at least try to give details I think or know that the tech support reps want or need. That way when it comes time for me to ask for help, I'm not trudging into the digital emergency room without a clue like some techno-hick.

Here is the thread mentioned above:

So why am I having to come to the CS forum to ask that a Mac issue be at least looked into?

Edit: Typos. GG finger still in a splint making typing frustrating. :)

Although our Technical Support staff, including those who moderate the Mac Tech Support forum, try to address all posts that are made in the respective forum they are simply unable to address each and every post made.

If you are unable to receive assistance through the Tech Support forum, Tiapriestess, it is probably best to us one of the other methods of contact (i.e. by phone or e-mail/webform).

I am sorry for the issues you have been experiencing and that your thread has yet to be addressed through the Mac Tech Support forum. Hopefully some direct contact via e-mail or phone will help. Since you included so much useful information in your post make sure you include it in the e-mail if you decide to go that route.
