I was doing voa just about half an hour ago when i got booted from wow saying something that had to so with parental control settings...I NEVER SET UP ANY PARENTAL CONTROL SETTINGS and when I try to send myself an email of the form, I just don't receive it. I check my junk and all other emails and keep on resending it to diff emails and it doesnt work. Not even my secret answer is working.

W.T.F so irritated right now. NOBODY has my password to my account and im 22 yrs old, my parents dont monitor my gameplay which I pay for.

It's fairly apparent someone else has your information because parental controls have indeed been set on this account, Everaye. Looking back, the exact same thing (and apparently same party) happened at the beginning of October.

You need to make certain that your WoW password is unique, and is not shared with anyone else. Also, making sure your system and email are both secure would be an excellent idea. You will need to contact Billing for assistance in getting this sorted out. Security needs to be a prime concern, however. If they still CAN get your information, they'll be back.

I'd also recommend not writing down your password where anyone physically close to your location can find it - or perhaps deduce it. Changing your email to a totally unrelated one may also be a good idea as that effectively changes your account name.

Adding an authenticator to your account is also something I'd recommend as it adds another layer of security to your account.

Ok well thats great but now Im trying to change my freaking password and my security answer isn't working.

Great.

Wow so I paid for another month of wow to just throw it into the toilet. Amazing.

And now Im locked out of my account, wow.

As said, you need to find out, first - how someone is getting your information so you can tighten security - and then you need to contact our Billing department to get back into control of the account.
