I contacted my bank and they have no records or errors or giving my Visa Card a "530 - Generic Decline" I've ordered numerous items on different sites with no such problem as this. I have double, triple, quintuple checked and re-typed my information with no avail. I have called Blizzard multiple times and they have given me no help and on most occasions no responses. I have called my bank three times and they have no idea why I'm getting this error.

I'd like for someone to help me, I wouldn't even bother doing it online if it wasn't the only way I could play Cataclysm.

I'd like some help. I have looked and searched on the forums time and time again for a response from a Blue Post but none of them seem to know what they're talking about or how to even help. The community have been a bigger help by providing me with the email, fraud.blizzard.com but even then, they couldn't help me. I would like to know whats going on. Please.

I apologize for all the trouble you been experiencing, Bookeeper. Looking at the account it appears you have 10+ failed transactions. While I cannot assist you with the purchase via forums, I would like to provide you with some information that may help you.

From what I can see the name/address appear to all be correct in all your attempts. Please check the following information on the card:
  • Card holder's First and Last name
  • Full Card Number
  • Security Code
**NOTE** For security purposes, please do not post any of the above information on the forums.

I checked with one of our Billing representatives and they have confirmed that your bank should be able to give you more insight as to what is causing the error 530.

Can you make sure you are contacting your bank's line dedicated to online transaction or online banking assistance?

I will have someone double check that nothing on our side is causing the error. Chances are that I won't get a reply until Monday morning though. :/
