"Too many attempts" block

My friend is reactivating his account--it is a reactivation since the whole bnet e-mail change thing. He couldn't remember his password and by the time he figured it out, it blocked him. I think it says he is locked for a few hours.

He is calling CS, but is there anything else he can do to access his account? He is relatively certain he has the password now.

I'm afraid that contacting our Billing & Account Services department is the only recourse at this point, Greenishot. Were there a way to bypass this feature, it would somewhat defeat the purpose of having it to prevent brute-force password attempts.

They are about to close for the evening, but if your friend has been put on hold, encourage him to stay on the line! Our representatives will stay to clear out the hold queue before they leave. >^.^<
