I didn't mean to level...

A few days ago I started playing WoW again after a break of about three or four months or so. I was playing on my level 19 character, which I play on purely for the 10-19 WSG bracket. After winning a couple battles, my character had progressed to level 20.

I was very confused. Apparently I had missed a major change in the game. I was absolutely disguisted with what had just happened. My level 19 had been some what of a twink, but no where near a top contender amongst twinks. I just really enjoyed playing that 10-19 WSG bracket, but now I can't. I had put a decent amount of effort, time, and money into this character - preparing him for the 10-19 WSG bracket.

I discover later on that there is an option to turn off EXP gains - something I had missed in the patch notes. This made me even more frustrated, knowing now that this level gain could have been avoided.

Now my question is: Will Blizzard roll back this character for me if requested? Naturally, Blizzard would have the best answer for me, but the reason I'm posting this on the forums is because I'm just curious if any one has been in a situation similar to mine.

I know Blizzard will roll back characters after a thorough investigation of an account claimed to have been hacked...but what about in this situation?

Heya Healingcow,
Q u o t e:
Blizzard will never "roll back" a character. Even one that has been compromised. The only exception is an unauthorized server transfer, in which case the character may be reverted to a pre-transfer state.

Unfortunately, they will not be able to revert your character back to 19.
