Gathering bots - What are Blizz doing?

Greetings!

I have recently taken up herbing quite heavily since 4.0 to take advantage of some good ink prices etc with the glyph changes. Although this market has gone down quite a lot since the patch I'm continuing to herb as it's still quite a decent income. Over the last month or two i have found there to be a massive amount of bots especially on my server and i would imagine very much every other server out there. Since noticing these bots i've been sending tickets with my list of bots each night to blizzard but fail to see any difference in my nightly lists. Noone seems to be belted by the ban hammer, and the botting community continues to thrive.

Blizzard - what i would like to know is -
1. Do you care that customers gathering manually pots names to be investigated?
2. Do you plan to do anything about it?
3. How long does it take to investigate the issue?

I camped an alliance mining bot character at a graveyard the other night (they continually graveyard res no matter where they are killed) for about 2 hours in the hopes that my ticket may be addressed while the bot was clearly doing its thing but to no avail.

I would appreciate a response soon as it very much feels like its pointless to even bother.

Ps. if blizzard actually does not care at all about botters should i expect one as part of my Cataclysm UI?

Feel free to keep reporting, Pantz. You may not see the instant reaction you are expecting, however.

Bots are often done in waves - and even better yet, 'broken'.

While plucking them immediately may seem like instant relief, that is temporary at best. They just fire up another stolen account to abuse till that one is closed down as well.

The next time you may hear an acquaintence or guildy talking about gold sellers or perhaps using their services - remember, it's customer demand from players that are at the root of every bot, spammer and stolen account. It is NOT a victimless crime to deal with these people, every copper is stolen or exploited in some fashion and has far reaching effects long beyond the immediately obvious.
