Friend Didn't Recieve 7-day Renewal E-mail

He hasn't payed for his WOTLK account for about 5 months IIRC, and he didn't get an e-mail giving him the free 7 days time, is there any fine print to this Blizzard offer?

Not all inactive accounts qualify to receive the 7 days of game time, Tynril. I'm afraid your friend did not for this one but perhaps he will for a future promotion.
