Account Locked

First, I UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON COMPLETELY. That is not the question.

I am a truck driver. I figured I'd get hit by the account lock eventually, as the IP I log in from changes literally every day, sometimes in a space of hours. It just hit me for the first time today, and I have to say, it's a good idea in theory, but the execution needs some work.

I got the account locked notice. I change my password. I then change it AGAIN. I log in. All is well.

I log out to switch to my second account on the same battle.net account. So, same log in information, different subaccount.

Account locked.

Seriously? Are you serious? In the space of less than 30 minutes you have locked my account AGAIN? Without an IP change? I'm certain of the lack of IP change because I have been connected to my guild's Ventrilo server, speaking with other people, and I never reconnected.

This time I had no e-mail, just the in-game notification.

Is there any way to ask for this feature to be disabled? If it's going to be THAT invasive, I would like the option to NOT have my account protected by it.

Q u o t e:
So, I don't have an authenticator. I'm curious, is this "protection" disabled for authenticator accounts?

Anybody with an authenticator get hit with the suspicious activity lock?

No, because although it's hard to do - and rare, NOTHING is 100% on the internet. There is no way through an authenticator - but there is a very nasty type of malware that can go around one, mainly by making you think you are logging in - but logging into the compromiser instead.

Be VERY careful where you get your addons - and also extremely careful if you use a search engine for them. A very common way for this type of malware to get on your system is trhough fake addon sites that are sponsored.
