Please make it stop....

I am writing in regards to the new launch window for WoW. Please make the sound stop. I don't know what it's supposed to be, but every time I launch WoW I hear it. It sounds something like a car, driven by a cat, crashing into a steel pillar. And then, once that is over, I am rewarded after clicking the launch button by yet another annoying and confounding loud sound. I do not know why these were added to the game. Please explain, or simply remove them.

I was actually surprised by these reports when they first started coming in, I guess I don't have my volume up high enough. O.o

Regardless, our Developers are aware of the feedback regarding this and hope to have the matter resolved in an upcoming patch.

Dissimilar from any other Wow sound effects or music, you can't mute the Loading/Start screen--which I think is what folks are asking for. The sound occurs whenever the game advances from "playable" to "available" on the new patch-progress bar, and whenever you hit the Start button.
