Name unavailable though I checked

I recently faction changed one of my characters and before I changed his name I checked to see if the name was available by making a character of the name I wanted and then deleting the character. Now after my faction change I selected a new name for my character and it worked, but when I went to log in it said my name was flagged for rename and I am unable to have the name that I checked for availability.

Sometimes a Blizzard rep here will see and be able to nudge this particular issue, but best to have the ticket in just in case they don't - and cancel the ticket if it gets handled before that is seen.

Or in this case, I can just close out the petition after I remove the naming flag. :)
