Trial account upgrade to wotlk

I just came back to wow after a long break and could not for the life of me figure out my old account info so i restarted with a trial account. I have since upgraded that but now i am stuck with vanilla what is the best (easiest and cheapest) way to get upgraded to WOTLK so that i can upgrade to cata when it happens.

As others have mentioned, retail stores carry a battle chest which includes both WoW Classic and The Burning Crusade. You will need to check your local retail store for prices.
