As Pahanda indicated, Wolfrouge, the e-mails you are receiving accusing of you of attempting to sell your account are phishing e-mails. It is an attempt to trick you into following a bogus link in the e-mail and giving up your account specific information. More information on phishing e-mails and how to identify them can be found in the following Support Article.

As long as you have access to the registered e-mail address you should be able to recover the account and reset the password by using the following link.

Otherwise, you'd need to use the following link.

As for why you stopped playing, well I'm not certain what errors you may have received, Wolfrouge, but you can always contact our Technical Support for troubleshooting advice and assistance. You can start by visiting the Tech Support forum.

Additional methods of contact can be found in the following link.

I hope that helps.
