Last night I tried to create some new toons on a different server that I normally play on. I normally play alliance and wanted to try my hand at some horde toons but since i have all my slots filled on my normal server i chose a different server that I know some people on.
The game would let me create the characters, but when i tried to log into the world on them the game would hang and not respond. Any ideas what is going on?
You certainly seem to be well under the character limit, Henryiette.
When was the last time you did a full reset UI. That may not help this condition, but it can' hurt - and at the very least it will give us a good baseline to proceed from.
Do the full procedure, reboot - and try this again prior to readding any type of addon whatsoever.
To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.
Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.
Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.
