My video options wont stay the same

My video options are messed up and i want to open up wow and enter window mode but with my reselution i set it to 1440X980(Widescreen) then i play and leave wow then i start it back up and it is set at 1024X768 and that is wat it is when i start up wow also. Same thing with windowed mode i change it to that press apply and then quit wow and come back and its in fullscreen. Any1 have any ideas on how to fix this?

If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, Gulirne, you will want to make sure you use the "Run as administrator" option.

By default you are the computer administrator, however, Windows Vista/7 will require you to elevate application privileges in order for some changes to apply correctly.
  • Right click your World of Warcraft icon
  • Click on Run as Administrator
Make sure you use this option the first time you launch the game and once more after making the adjustments.
