Recruit-A-Friend Issue

Alright, so, I recruited my friend 5 days ago. He just went to the store yesterday to pick up the Battle Chest and a 2 month game card. So he goes home and installs everything and adds the game card. The problem is he added it to the wrong account (WoW1 instead of WoW2). Speaking of these "WoW#" accounts, what are these all about? I have it also, my main account and WoW1 and my other buddy has the same thing. It seems quite useless.

Anyways, he thought he did everything right, logged on, and I noticed I wasn't able to summon him, the 300% xp boost wasn't there, I didn't get the rewards, etc. Is it possible to help him out in some way to get the linked game to the trial account instead of this "WoW1" account? Otherwise he wasted 70 bucks for nothing when we both really wanted those benefits.

Oh, also. I asked him to log off WoW1 and log on WoW2 to see if I was able to summon him and he noticed none of his characters he originally created on the trial account (WoW2) were even there. They were all on the other account (WoW1)

I reviewed the account, Iroxx, and it appears as though your friend created WOW1 with a standard trial key available through the website and then upgraded this account. WOW2 on the other hand is the Recruit-A-Friend trial account you send him a few minutes later.

We may be able to assist, but I need for you both exit the game completely to your desktops if you both are playing. Once you have done so please update the thread.

Alright, Iroxx, both of you are now able to log back into the game.

You will notice you have been credited with 1-month of game time and you also have the ability to redeem the mount.
