Invisible people and weird realms in Dungeons

Today I have three times now had to leave a dungeon with another person from my realm because we could not see the other people.

We could see the dots of them on the minimap but it was like they were in a different phase to us.

In the last one the three people from Ragnaros (A realm I have never grouped with for a year in LFD) ran in and started killing while the healer and I watched them die.

The mobs in our phase did not move or die.

What could be wrong?

I have run virus scans and checked my computer. plus it is happening to my friend, in another country when we join together.

It is so weird that these people from realms I don't recognise could be in our groups anyway.

Battlegroups were recently linked together for BG's and for the Dungeon Finder system, Sournois.

Ragnaros is part of Vindiction and you are part of Rampage.

I'll see if anything is known about not being able to see players from the other realm though as that does not sound right.

Basically, from what I was able to find out, you are actually grouping correctly but when you enter you are entering different instances of the same dungeon. Though I do not have any information on when a resolution may be available it is currently under investigation. We will provide what updates when can as soon as they become available.

I do not currently have an update, though I have word that restarts may be necessary to pick up any adjustments made to help resolve this issue. The following thread should be updated if/when that becomes necessary.
