Guild rank promotion issues after acct xfer

I have already submitted a ticket on this issue, had it escalated and closed. The GM that responded was as informative as he (she?) could be but I still want more information. So, I turn to you all for help (and maybe a blue will bless this post with a response as well).

I created a level 1 toon on "account A" and promoted it to GM prior to transferring my main to "account B". After transferring my main to "account B" I invited and promoted her back to GM. After the promotion I tabbed to the WoW session that had my main logged into "account B"...she was still listed as an Initiate. I tabbed back to the WoW session with the level 1 toon on "account A" and it was also listed as an Initiate. So now I have a guild with all Initiates, no GM and no way to fix any of this mess...

I was told that Blizzard is aware this is a problem and that it's a system-wide bug yet I see no one else posting for input or assistance. Is anyone else having this issue? Have you found a workaround? Or do we have to truly sit and "wait it out" as the GM told me?

I'm stuck with an inoperative guild and I'm being told to "wait it out"? I don't even get the courtesy of a light at the end of a tunnel? A tentative eta for resolution?

Throw me a bone, please.

...anything?

Well you do have my apology for any inconvenience this may have caused. I believe this will be an issue of waiting for the system to update. I am showing your posting character as the guild master - it's just a matter of everything updating so YOU can see it.

Guild changes can lag behind just a bit, if you go swapping leadership - it's sometimes better to let one change process through before making another if at all possible.

This should catchup with itself and please do let us know if it doesn't appear to. It may take a little while.
