So you are telling me that every single time I need to log on to WoW I need to come up with a unique 15 digit password. And you see this as a mild inconveinence?
Compared to the possible compromise of the account? Yes, I personally would see it as a mild inconvenience. If you play while traveling I'm afraid this may continue to be a common issue. I am sorry but I know of no way around it currently.
Q u o t e:
This really sounds like a ploy to make us buy this Authenticator crap that you are selling that has turned out to be a dead idea. Tell you what, just fire whoever came up with it and his/her salary over a year or two will cover your losses.
No, an Authenticator would actually not prevent this from happening, Loschen. It should also be pointed out that we sell Authenticators at cost and wave shipping and handling in the continental U.S. so your opinion as to our motivation is grossly inaccurate.
Not to mention the Mobile Authenticator is available for more phones for free.

Tell you what...you have until 12/07/2010 to fix this nonsense. Otherwise, I'm just going to cancel and sell the stock I have invested in your company. This is really the most stupid thing you have ever put into effect.
As originally stated, Loschen, if you believe this system should be changed in some way you are welcome to post in the Suggestions forum with your constructive feedback. Those of us who moderate this forum have no influence over these matters nor are we liaisons with those who do. Again, I am sorry for what inconvenience these systems have caused you as it is not intended to but evidence thus far shows that such steps have gone a long way to help protect player accounts.
