Scroll of Ress - Does it work for WotLK?

Hi,

I have read the offical FAQ on Scroll of Resurrection (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=20592) and it said that and I quote:

"You may only send a Scroll of Resurrection to World of Warcraft accounts that have NOT been upgraded to Wrath of the Lich King. "

under the question 'Who can I cast Scroll of Resurrection on?'

So my question is how come I heard people on WoW's forums saying that they used the scroll of ress and received a free month after their friend paid a sub for 1 month and s/he is currently used WotLK client on his or her account.

So is the official FAQ outdated?

As Barolas mentioned, there was a known issue that was allowing WotLK to use SoR. The issue has been corrected and only BC accounts that have been inactive for +90 days are eligible.
