"You cannot log in until the character..."

"You cannot log in until the character update process you recently initiated is complete."

Erm I didn't initiate any character updates. I did transfer servers weeks and weeks ago, but I don't understand how that's recent or why that would be affecting my account now.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this.

This is billing related issue, Thisil.

Based on what I can see there was chargeback on the account. In other words the charge pertaining to the transfer was disputed causing the character to be locked.

In this case you will need to contact our billing and account services and provide a valid CC to pay for the transfer and unlock the character.
