GM response queues

Dear Blizzard,

I was wondering, when was the last time you've not been "Experiencing a high volume of petitions"? That has been my usual ticket response for some time, many months before 4.0.1, it seems though I haven't hard evidence to back it up ... so, doesn't it become a "normal volume of petitions" without enough GMs to handle them? Isn't it only going to get exponentially worse at this rate after 12/7/10?

Just my two cents. Thank you.

Q u o t e:

Excuse me forum police, how is that lying to a gm. Im saying if you are really stuck in a city and you dc and lag and cant get out of the city you can make a stuck ticket, and if the gm asks you if there is anything else he can do for you tell him another issue.

It's unfair to others that are in the queue, Ragoe. You're welcome to put a petition in regarding that issue if that is the issue you are experiencing. But to do so otherwise is abusing a Game Master and circumventing a system that is meant to be fair to all.

Besides the point - if a lot of people started to do this, it would just make matters, and our queues, much worse.

Keltan, it is certain that when a major patch or expansion hits, our queue times will fluctuate. It's simply the nature of the beast. But you can always check on what our estimated queue times are (as well as see how they fluctuate over the course of a week) by checking our our Twitter feed.

Just prior to 4.0.1, we were down to queue times being only a few hours. Right after, they leapt up to 7, then 9 days. Then they gradually lowered to what you're seeing now - about a day for a response, and the queues are only getting lower. >^.^< There will be times when they jump back up, but it is the dragon we fight here every day and every patch.
