Gifting Cataclysm Digital Download.

I would like to give my best friend the expansion when it comes out on Dec. 7. I checked the information that is available and found the following:

"Can I designate an item as a gift?

You can only designate digital downloads as gifts. Doing so will send a transferable authentication key to the email address of your choice. For other products that you wish to gift to someone, simply add their address to your Address Book and send the order there."

When I go to the Blizzard store there is no purchase for the expansion and when I try to use the digital pre-sale it only allows it for my own account.

Looking for an official response so I do it right. Can't afford to waste money buying an extra download.

Thank You

Q u o t e:
It is only possible to gift a digital upgrade to the standard version of World of Warcraft. This is not currently available for upgrades to the expansions.
Expansions including The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King cannot be gifted currently. If this changes however, the announcement will be publicly made in our official sites.

Furthermore if this is a feature you would like to see implemented, I highly recommend you post it in our suggestion forum.
