Missing character (I think...)

Here's my story, a couple of weeks ago I deleted my 80 mage, Ayumi, since I planned on leveling a new one in Cata, but I've had a change of plans since I'm not sure if I'd be able to do the leveling again. So I opened a ticket a couple of days ago asking for her to be restored and not even an hour I finally got a hold of a GM who supposedly restored my character for me, yet when I check my character screen my mage isn't there.

I'm not sure if this might have anything to do with it, but I figure I should bring it up. While I was talking to the GM he had a problem restoring my character at first since I was at the character limit, so I had to logout and delete the lvl 1 I had with the name "Ayumi". After that is when he had told me my character had been successfully restored.

Also, I'm unable to create a character with the name Ayumi now (since I'm assuming it's a missing char problem) and whenever I try to friend it in-game, it says this: http://img829.imageshack.us/f/wowscrnshot110410135815.jpg/
