Character doesn't exist

I'd recommend first you do a full reset UI.

It may not resolve this, but it will give you a fresh baseline to trouble-shoot from if it doesn't.

To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.

Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.

Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.

Did you simply rename the folders or did you delete them entirely, Dellaillah?

There may be an underlying technical issue that is causing the characters not to appear, Dellaillah. The only other option I could suggest would be to run the Repair Utility. Instructions on how to run the Repair Utility can be found here, about midway down in the article:
