CD Key Errors Need Blue Help please.

Hello, I am having some difficulties when trying to enter a CD Key. I bought a WoW battlechest (WoW/ WoW: BC) at GameStop a couple of hours ago. When trying to upgrade a recruit a friend account from trial to regular WoW, it worked fine. I used the code printed on the CD sleeve and purchased a 30 day gametime code from the blizzard store. I logged on the new WoW account and checked if it had upgraded it from a trial account, which it did. But, when entering trying to upgrade the account to a Burning Crusade account, it gives me this error message :

•You cannot claim this key at this time. If you recently purchased a digital upgrade for World of Warcraft®, please wait until the upgrade process is completely finished and try again.


I've re-entered the code several times, and have waited about 2 hours. Should I just wait longer? I've done this before and was able to upgrade instantly. Thanks for reading and I look forward to your answers.

Not certain what could be going on with this one, I do show the account as full. I'd give this another try in the morning and you may need to contact Billing if there is still an issue.

You are trying to upgrade your standard account - not create a new on with the BC key, right?
