What happened to my ticket?

On my Mage, Serefina on Ysera, I was having fun Polymorphing some level 1 new bots in Wetlands. I put in a ticket for the four characters involved in the botting. I waited, and then my ticket said "Your ticket will be serviced soon," and then all of a sudden, while online, I get chosen to fill out a GM survey. I checked my in-game mail and my registered e-mail and I received nothing regarding my ticket. Did a GM just close my ticket? Was it escalated? Why don't I have a response?

While placing petitions is perfectly fine, this is needing a little more, shall we say, sweeping - intervention :)
