Our guild completed this achievement this week, but only a handful actually received credit for the achievement. It clearly showed the aura as one of my buffs when Thorim died, so I should have received credit for completing it.

And yes I've looked at different forums on different sites and some say you need to be in the right party or polymorph and bug the mob or do this or that, but IT SHOWED the "AURA" AS ONE OF MY BUFFS WHEN HE DIED. That's what the achievement states and it should be credited to me. If you need to be in the party of the person MC'ing the mob then only make it a party wide buff. If you need to polymorph the mob or bug it or do any other special strange stuff that the achievement doesn't say then you should fix it. As I've completed what the achievement states I expect to be credited for it.

Achievements are very tricky things, Threewisemen. They can be incredibly difficult for our staff to verify via our logs, and, in some cases, impossible to do so. As a result, our developers restrict our Game Masters from granting the majority of Achievements in game, as they want Achievements to be a wholly automated service with little to no interference.

While you are most welcome to submit a petition, this situation is highly unlikely to be assisted with by our Game Masters due to the limitations we have over achievements. If you feel that there is a bug you would like to report regarding this achievement, however, we would greatly appreciate it if you could report it and any details relating to it over in our Bug Report forum.

If you feel that this is a service we should offer, then I also recommend posting in our Suggestions forum, as our developers and policy makers regularly review the posts there.

Q u o t e:
This achievement shouldn't be hard to verify at all actually. The "aura" is a 40 yard range and I honestly don't think you can get out of it's range in the room. If the room is less than 40 yards across everyone should have received credit for it. You can tell who was in the raid and who wasn't. You can tell who got the achieve and who didn't. I just solved your problem.

In this case, Threewisemen, you are welcome to submit a petition, but I wished to precaution you that there are many reasons (aside from difficulty of verification) that we are unable to grant Achievements.

The developer's wishes that we do not interfere is usually the foremost concern.
