I dont know if im in the right section (first time i've used the forum)

Recently coming back after 2 and a half years off of WoW i download the client off the site and move my character to my friends realm (nesingwary) from Blades Edge, i add a subscription Via PayPal and its been approx 5 hours and it still saying the subscription is PENDING,

Just before i closed the page it said it could take up to 60 minutes for it to work.

Just wanting to know if someone in the same boat or had this problem before and what the solution is thanks.

I see that you have added a 60 day game card instead, Mewmewkitteh.

Q u o t e:
did the same thing with paypal yesterday and it's still pending. I'm going to give it until tomorrow and then i'm going to call billing.
While paypal subscriptions generally take a bit longer, Riun, I have forwarded information regarding this issue to the appropriate parties. Please allow at least 72 hours before contacting our billing and account service team, as there is no way to expedite the process.

Once I have an update regarding whether this is working as intended or a known issue, I will let you guys know.

Although these reports are all payment related, they are unfortunately not the result of any particular issue. Billing and Account services receive these type of calls all day. A failed transaction does not imply that there is something wrong with the payment system. Here is what I was able to find.

Paypal:
Nitrowolf and Riun, the issues concerning paypal transaction stuck in a pending state is being looked into. For now hang tight or use a prepaid Game Card. As i stated before:

Except my credit card doesnt work on the store. lol
Nitrowolf, what exactly is the error you are receiving when trying to purchase a Game Card. I'm afraid "doesnt work" does not give me much to work with.

Q u o t e:
Both of my cards were declined (my usual card, a debit card, actually has 6 (yes 6) $1.00 with drawls from blizzard in my online statement.
Sersly,

This is a declined transaction which can be caused by , insufficient funds, incorrect CC information or CC fraud block. An e-mail is sent to you with a result code. Contact your financial institution and provide them the code.

Thats when i purchase the game card on the website.
Your purchase was declined, billing and account services should be able to clear it up.
Q u o t e:
I went and bought a 2 month card from 7 11, If there is any chance you could cancel the paypal transaction that would be great.
You should be able to log in by adding the prepaid game card.

Q u o t e:

Because of this I tried to switch to a debit card. In fact, I tried three different ones and all of them failed. I know for a fact that they have enough funds and I've used one of the cards for my account before, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
Dantès,

Once a Paypal transaction is pending, using a debit/credit card will automatically fail. You can allow up to 72 hours for the transaction to be processed, or use a prepaid game card.

If anyone continues to experience payment issues, please open a new thread with the appropriate subject and a brief description.

Q u o t e:
I am never given a decline code. Just that "There was an error with your credit card, please call blizzard support".
Correct, this is the error message on the page which generates an e-mail containing the error code.

Q u o t e:
Also, I just today got an email saying my PayPal transaction failed. It's saying the incorrect date as well
We were looking into PayPal subscriptions stuck in a pending state, however it doesn't sound like that's the issue here.

The issue has been resolved as of this morning, feel free to try renewing using PayPal once again. If you continue to experience issues, your best bet is to contact our Billing and Account services team.
