Having a couple of issues...

I'm currently having two issues:

1. After many tries, my group and I finally managed to down the LK, it was a pretty big deal to me as it was my first time to do so. For whatever reason, even though we managed to kill him, I was not rewarded with the reward or the title of "Kingslayer". One of the people I was raiding with mentioned that he had a similar issue in the past and recommended that I attempt to contact someone via the message board. Any help would certainly be appreciated.

2. I no longer wish to be a Alchemist/Herbalist and have chosen to switch to Mining/Engineering. I unlearned Alchemy/Herbalism and picked up Mining/Engineering. I figured I'd start out by leveling Mining, so I got a Mining Pick, found a Copper Ore, attempted to mine it, and was met with the message "requires mining". Under my professions it shows that I am 1/75 in both Mining/Engineering. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your time and hard work...

You need to put in an ingame petition on both of these, Disco.

As to the title, were you present through the whole kill - didn't release, were in the instance, etc?

On the profession, just specify which you are having difficulties with as you have here. One workaround that works for some players (but not all) is to train in Shattrath. For some reason, skills there seem to be 'sticking' for most.

Q u o t e:

Thank you for the advice.

Yes, though I died during the encounter. I was told that I should still get credit for the kill though, perhaps that was bad advice?

Depends, if you were still in the instance and didn't release until credit was awarded, you normally do.

If you released and were outside the instance, no.
