Ticket Priority

So I've had a ticket open for 4~5 days on my Rogue, which it still is open now. On the other hand, I opened a ticket on my Paladin eairlier today, and I got a near 3ish hour reponse. I appreciate being able to get help on my paladin, but this is obviously real messed up. Why do gamemasters refuse to service my Rogue? I have a bigger issue with my Rogue, which makes me think GMs are being lazy and skip my ticket for easier issues to resolve.

There are a number of reasons as to why one issue may be addressed sooner than others, Kurdles.

1) It could be the difference between an issue that a new Game Master can handle than one that requires the skill of a higher level Game Master - the easier issues go to our newly trained Game Masters until they are properly trained for the tougher stuff. As you can expect, sometimes this "easy queue" gets run through a bit quicker than those that take more investigation or knowledge.

2) One ticket could be a specialty ticket - such as a stuck ticket. There are certain issues that are high priority due to their time sensitivity and impact on an individual's ability to play.

3) Your issue could be a duplicate of another issue in queue. For instance, if you are reporting a player who is hacking, and others have also done so, a Game Master will generally go through and remove all tickets having to do with that same player, so as to lower the queue overall and not create duplicate work.

I think this particular case leaned more towards 3 in this situation, but without investigating all the actions taken in the tickets, I'd be unable to tell you precisely why. That's my hunch, though. >^.^<
