Reporting Racist Remarks In-Game

When a racist remark is made in-game, is the general player that reports them even of the actual race that the remark would directly offended someone?

I have multiple friends of different skin color and it appears that not 1 of them have yet to seem to care when someone says something racist in-game. In fact, they tend to laugh at them when the player is trying to offend them.

It almost seems as if a general caucasian, who doesn't get offended by racial slurs, would report things simply because they can or because they are supreme rule followers. They doing this know that in most cases it will get passed and send the offending player some sort of punishment / warning.

P.S. Don't start a flame war about racial slurs please >.>

Topics of these nature generally don't go over well in public discussion, unfortunately. Had this been a more productive thread, I'd have been happy to leave it open.

Needless to say, if you see something that violates our harassment policies, regardless of whether or not you may take offense to it personally, we would really appreciate it if you'd report it to our in-game staff. We want to cultivate a positive experience for all players, not just individuals who may not find certain topics offensive.

I've provided our Harassment Policy for reference below.
