Account Suspension

I was emailed today a notice of my account being suspended for "This suspension happened because one or more characters on the account were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for ""real-world"" currency."

I DO NOT DO THIS NOR DO I SUPPORT PEOPLE THAT DO.

I rarely use any chat channels. When I do, it's usually for a humorous situational comment or to tell spammers that they have been reported and ignored.

Really, spam and phishers are a pet peeve of mine. You really don't know how mad I am that I got this email since it is such a pet peeve of mine. I wish somebody from customer service can tell me what's up. Because I will make a federal case of this. Darn I am mad.

This account? If it's another, I'd need a character name and realm. This one is not suspended.

Sounds like you may have gotten phished. Check the internal routing header in that email to see who is the real sender.

What account - the one you are posting under? Is this new - I see some action back in October for spam.
