A little dissapointed blizz.

When I first heard the announcement that we were going to be able to "Download" the content Before the actual launch of cata and not have to wait on a torrent, I was psyched. But it turns out to be nothing a Pre-Buy on the blizz store.

Last year I bought the LE edition of Wrath to show my love for the game. I'm planning on the same for Cata. Then why is it I can't get the same love for buying it at a store? Why can't I download the data Before the launch without Paying online? It feel's like I'm getting the short end of the stick for supporting the company and my love for the game now. I literally feel like I'd be better off canceling my pre-order.

It's fine.

It really doesn't matter though. The install from the DVD is right around the same time as the unpack and install from a harddrive. SSD's excluded, potentially.

But, even in the case that it is quicker by a minute or two, you're still having to go to the store and get your key, upgrade your account, then install. I'd say you're saving a negligible amount of time by pre-downloading if you're buying a retail copy.
