Digital Download question (not cinematics)

Ok, I currently have a preorder for the box copy at a major retail chain. I will keep this if the Digital Download doesn't work out for me.

What I would like to know is, I noticed some people were having credit card issues with preordering the Digital Download. What I would be attempting to do is order it for my account, as well as my husbands. As of right now, my account is in my maiden name, due to a problem when I attempted to change my name on the account (something about not being able to use a birth certificate for someone already over the age of 18, I couldn't find my marriage license at the time >.< ), and obviously, the card is in my married name. Would this pose a problem with the system? The card in question is also used to pay for the current subscriptions of both accounts, and have never had a problem with that in the past.

EDIT: Darn it! The armory still hasn't updated our guild name on the Armory.... GM changed the guild name and it hasn't updated after 3 days... but that's a whole separate issue......

EDIT 2: I named this thread as such because I didn't want people to think I was complaining about the rumored lack of cinematics in the DD... Yay for having Warcraft official Facebook page.

No, the name itself does not play a factor in the ability to upgrade an account or not, Aslario. Provided the information with the credit card is up to date and correct you should be fine to upgrade.

Since this feature is still in the Beta phase it may take some time for the change to reflect accurately. All errors related to the Armory should be reported by emailing [email protected].
