Can't buy the WoW Cataclysm Digital Upgrade

Dear Blizzard,

My credit card has been working for world of warcraft, I transferred a character yesterday. I availed a game subscription using the card. My issue is when I upgrade to cataclysm an error appears asking me to contact blizzard technical service.

I live in the philippines. The card I use is mastercard, it works for wow. but how come I cant upgrade to cataclysm. Please check and get back to me.

This may be possibly due to the recent transaction; I would suggest waiting 72 hours before you try to purchase anything again with your credit card, if you try another card the error will most likely not change. If you continue to have this issue after 72 hours waiting period, I would suggest to call your bank or Account services for assistance here:
    Account Services
    Assists with: billing issues, password recovery, paid services, subscriptions, payment issues, account management, etc

    Hours: 7 AM to 8 PM Pacific Time

I don't mean to hijack Jorge's thread, but it's frustrating to see a Blue response that not only ignores the general problem, thereby implying that this is somehow that player's fault or their bank's, but also advises him to contact Account Services (an expensive international call - and to keep trying when he gets a busy tone, no less!) when it is quite likely that there is nothing that Account Services' telephone staff can do.

Account services tell you there is nothing they can do, it's an online problem, and they can't take your order yet. Bat.

You check the online forums, and the pretty blue moth bats you back to ... yep, account services.
I only referred him to speak to Account services if he needs further assistance, after the said suggestion of waiting 72 hours. The second suggestion was to contact the bank itself, since we cannot make the bank give us the money that is in the players bank account.

I also acknowledge the fact that even if he tries to process the transaction with a different card, this may not change the same error that he may be receiving.

These are all suggestions to a possible fix, for this players issue, which has worked in the past.
