OT: It's the Weekend!!!

I found out today that my lovely dear heart has acquired tickets and dinner reservations tomorrow for World of Color. <3

I've not yet been, and while I've visited the Happiest Place on Earth a few times, I don't believe I've ever actually dined at any of the restaurants. Super excited for tomorrow.

He picked up one of the package dinner/shows at the Wine Country Trattoria, which I guess says they have a particular section for? I'm unsure, since I don't really know much about it. >^.^<;;

Super excited though. I've also never been when all the Halloween decorations are up, so it'll be a real... treat. >^.~<

It isn't one of those food allergies people take 100% seriously, they think you just don't like the taste so you're claiming allergy. Actually, my grandpa did that to me ._. As someone who is allergic to ground black pepper, I feel your pain and have been in many similar situations. =>.<=

Unfortunately, being allergic to pepper makes spicy food not much of an option for me. It's quite unfortunate. =>.<=

Supposedly. I can't say I've ever gotten that one before. A variety of other, less animated stars, but not Gadget. XD I blame the cartoonishly pink hair.

I can, but the smell turns my stomach. I think it's more a defence mechanism than anything, because I know if I eat them I'll be writhing in pain and sleeping on the bathroom floor.

Most of what I can't eat isn't an allergy though, it's because of my Barrett's. So I can eat them, even if I shouldn't. Spanish onions are my big weakness. Dauth has to watch me like a hawk when we go out in case I sneak a piece or two...

We were talking about this on the way in to work today! I have the same reaction when I smell cooked peppers (green, red, yellow, anything spicy -scented). Your body has a really good sense of self-preservation, so when it knows something messes with you, it makes your brain generate various kinds of self-aversions. Like when you black out in an accident - it forces your body to go limp rather than rigid upon impact, which could potentially save your life.

On a tangent - while I'm not technically allergic to bell peppers, since we couldn't quite figure out what made me so sick as a kid (only that it was in spicy foods), we eliminated all pepper from my diet. As a result, my stomach doesn't know how to process the acids and I can get really miserable upset tummys. =>.<=

It was rose red for the longest, turned it blueish for the con, now its purple. (●*∩_∩*●)

My daughter loved doing her own hair, so she's had a variety of colors from purplish-pink (freshman year - made a real impression), blue, brown with raccoon stripes, and so on. She's mellowed out now because the amount of bleaching she was doing was damaging her hair and she wanted to grow it longer.

Yea, I did not want to bleach it again so soon, so just added the pink over the blue, luckily the dye I use is not harsh on my skin, or hair and it stays on for as long as 2 weeks without retouching.

I'll have to find the nearest Sonic and try that! I love some of their drink combinations, I think Strawberry Limeade is my favorite that I have tried there.

I'd have to see about yellow.... my hair doesn't like to lighten. When I did the blue I had to bleach my hair twice before it was light enough to look good. I think "shocking yellow" would be more of a process than a one visit to my stylist. . . Perhaps, though.

Punky color is the best dye, I have used, It does not bleed onto your clothes or pillow so bad, like other hair dyes. I can wash my hair everyday without it fading until maybe the 7th day, you do not have to retouch for 2 weeks if you choose. Get lazy sometimes, hehe.

The color the tips of her hair was, the deep but vibrant blue, is what mine looked like. It was only six select spots on my head, but it looked pretty good (IMO) when I styled my hair.
