[email protected] response time

I was curious what the standard response time was for emails to [email protected]. I emailed 2 days ago, and while I am patient and understand it could take a week or so, there wasn't even an automatic confirmation email which I thought was odd. I don't want to wait around 2 weeks to find out my email was lost in the cyberspace abyss. Anyone here have experience with such things?

The email was actually a reply to an account restoration that happened months ago so I am wondering if that is an issue... Content of the email follows

My account had been open from the first month of WOW until June 2010 without any issues. This email below from June 27 was the result of an account restoration after getting hacked. I had changed all my passwords and done multiple virus scans and thought the problem was resolved - until my account got hacked again in less than a month. I attempted to restore it again, but for some reason the restore was very incomplete, including the absence of all my main character's gear (Ffayce 80 UD Priest - Mug'thol) (maybe because my character got deleted, and that wasn't resolved until after the gear was returned??). This attempted restore was on July 24th (I received emails for all my characters except Ffayce and still have them).

I couldn't figure out why my gear/items weren't restored when my priest was undeleted, and in frustration I quit the game. Since then I have built a new computer and downloaded the mobile authenticator, and I would like to try WOW out again for the expansion. I will not be buying the expansion if I can not get at least some of my gear restored. I am also missing all the tier gear I had collected going back all the way to Molten Core and many items that are no longer possible to attain.

I figured you must have records of your customer service, and even though this restore was almost a month before the final hack, the gear is substantially better than anything I could get in time before the expansion (not to mention I had saved a lot of gold). Is there anyway my game contents could be replaced with those from this old restore - or at minimum the gear for Ffayce on Mug'thol?

Hathios, there really isn't such a thing in these cases as too much information. When it comes to restorations, especially those that are time sensitive or particularly tricky, we'd much prefer to have more than enough info than not enough.

In addition, the [email protected] e-mail is not set up to send out automatic confirmations of receipt - this is because it is tied to our queue times, so one is usually not necessary. Sorry if this has caused any confusion.

All that being said, Ffayce, it looks as though the e-mail in question you are asking about has already been received and addressed. You should have received correspondence via e-mail on this issue. >^.^<
