I haven't seen any server issues or general connection issues. Sometimes patches can introduce small changes to how the game connects and updating network card drivers, fixing up firewalls, etc. can resolve post-patch connection issues.

It's worth troubleshooting as, again, I don't believe there are any server or connection issues on our end at this time. Best place to do so would be the Tech Support forum: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/1011701/
