Which one of these petitions are you referring to, Dr.?
I see two currently open, but one is 1 day 2hours old and the other is 4 hours old. Everything else appears to have been abandoned or resolved.
As to the two you have open, perhaps I can help.
We don't have a way to change classes. At this time, there just isn't one.
If you cast any beneficial spell on any player that is currently aggressive to guards either by aggro - or faction (in your example, Gadgetzan), yes that is quite likely to also flag you for attack.
