(Weird) Hacked Account: Overcharged

While im here helping others out thought id try get myself some help.

So I had a RAF friend a while ago and unfortunately it got hacked. I didnt even realise this for a while and when i went to log into it I realised it had been blocked by blizzard.

Now, I filled in all the paperwork and sent it off to blizz asking what was up and they said that there had been a request by the bank etc to revoke payment to the account and as such there was a 15 dollar surcharge on the account that id have to pay before I got my account back. On top of that that wouldnt give me 1 month of play id have to pay for that on top of the surcharge fee.

The account itself had been locked to someone elses battle.net account and password and Customer service wouldnt even revoke this access of the hacker until i paid for the money that had been revoked, thus leaving control of my account in the hands of someone whose info doesnt even match my own.

Multiple emails and they still wouldnt switch control back to me to even log in and change my password, still just requests for money.

Now heres the weird thing: There was no Credit Card or paypal account linked to the account, so I couldnt even request to have money brought back from a payment, all payment had been cancelled by me after I removed most of the chars from my account.

Curious, Bowjitsu. It does not seem as though the account you are inquiring about was ever merged to your Battle.net account. I'm unable to see the information you are speaking of in full detail, so my best advice in this situation is to contact our Billing & Account Services department.
