Got an e-mail saying my b.net email changed

Hello,

Blizzard Entertainment recently received a request to change the e-mail address used to log in to the Battle.net account with the username (my email). The e-mail address (not my email) has been specified as the new username for this Battle.net account. An email has been sent to this new address containing a verification link to complete the change.

Once the new address has been verified, the e-mail address (my email) can no longer be used to log in to this Battle.net account or any World of Warcraft accounts merged with this Battle.net account.

This sounds like a phishing attempt, Holypewpeww.

I double-checked the account to be sure there were no attempts of this nature made and there were not.

Since this appears to be a phishing attempt this is an indication a potential hacker has your email address. You may wish to change the email address associated to the Battle.net account as a precaution.

Checking the email headers can determine where an email originated from and if it is indeed a phishing email. Details on what to look for can be found here:
