Trial account upgraded via internet = still n

After waiting for 2 whole hours to talk to tech support, they told me I had to wait up to 72 hours to get my account upgraded... I was wondering if there was a way to make this go faster ? I'm already installing the real WoW link to override the trial version in hopes that it will work.

I am wondering why the leveling aspects get unlocked instantly, yet it takes nearly 3 whole days to get the other features ? my bank is filling up with leather I have been skinning since I began to play, and it's worth at least 10g/stack on my server... I have 200g sitting in my bank right now, that's how much I've got. I was fortunate enough to choose tailoring and I saved up enough gold to get two bank slots, so that helped... Sort of.

I would really hate to go and spend yet another $20 to buy a physical copy to try and expedite the process that way, since I saw a few people on the WoW Europe board mentioning that this worked.

Will any of these methods work, and am I doing right by installing the regular version to overwrite the trial one ? *crosses fingers*

No, that's on our end, Lilith.

Sadly, nefarious deeds done by those that seek to harm our players and the game have made changes necessary over time. It doesn't normally take the full 72 hours to upgrade online - but it can.

Leveling unlocks right away, but the other full features can take awhile. We have maintenance today, while you COULD use a store copy - that would essentially 'waste' your online upgrade. Not something I'd really recommend.
