First off, I don't share my email addresses or passwords, I have the iphone authenticator, and I'd never clicked on anything in an email or gone to websites that aren't familiar. Also, always update all programs.

Last night I got an email saying someone tried to reset my password on my hotmail account which I rarely use. Thinking maybe it was just spam, I didn't click on the links in the email but I went to my wow account and changed my email address and password. Tonight while I was playing, I got dc. When I tried to log back on it said the information was incorrect. I then went to the new email address and found an email from Bliz saying my pw was reset. This time I knew it was for real, so I clicked on the link to reset my pw. I was able to log back and warn my guild and then went to another pc and changed my pw again.

I've been running tons of programs tonight and have found ZERO malware, spyware, whatever on my pc. Is this possible? What's left, a full system restore?

BTW, this was a portion of the link I clicked on "https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset-confirm.xml?ticket=.....".

I am so terribly sorry this caused you concern, Mei.

Recently you've reported two accounts you suspected were compromised. While those were looked into, yours was also inadvertently set into the compromise queue. That will auto-generate password changes like the one you received.

You look fine from what I can see here, I do believe that's what started this. That's been rectified and again, you have my apologies for any confusion this may have caused. Even with an authenticator, scanning is an excellent idea, but that should go a long, long way towards keeping your own account safe and secure.

If you have any other questions, please do let us know.
