Merging 2 wow accounts

I posted this in general and realized that it should have been here.

I have 2 wow accounts one is currently active under my battle.net and is what I play on the other is a account that has been inactive since BC, before you could link wow to battle.net. I was wondering if when I merge both accounts onto the one battle.net it will cause any issues for my current account.

Up to eight WoW accounts can be on a single Battle.net. Just add it to your existing Battle.net account, should be fine.
