If i have an open ticket but

I have an open ticket already because i was wondering if i would be able to get some heirlooms i accidently deleted with a toon because i wasnt thinking and forgot to mail them to another one.. but my question is do i stay logged in until i get someone or would my ticket stay open till i come back online and put me back in the queue?

You do not need to be online - and your ticket doesn't drop out of queue either.

As long as we have all the information we need, this isn't something you'd need to be online for.

Item and character names would be the pertinent information here.
