Charged for Faction Change-Toon Unchanged

OK - so I paid $30 for a faction change for this toon today. Now either I'm going crazy or I just paid 30$ to change my horde undead rogue to a horde undead rogue.

I thought maybe my credit card was denied so I retried the faction change but it's saying I'm ineligible for 3 days. Which I would understand if, in fact my toon had switched from horde to alliance.

But I am still horde!

What gives?

BTW, I have no email confirmation from Blizzard regarding the faction change.
