Not necessary, Thatwasdumb. If you suspect someone is exploiting the system, the best course of action would be to report it to our in-game support via e-mail at [email protected] or to submit an in-game petition. Calling people out on the forums is not only bad form, but a violation of our Code of Conduct.

It's better to leave these situations to those who are able to fully investigate them.

Q u o t e:

it would be easier if you just told me you didnt care and ill go on with my broken wow playing.

If I told you that, Thatwasdumb, I would be lying. I do care very much, as do all of us here at Blizzard.

However, as I am sure you are aware, we are unable to disclose the actions we take on another account in any situation, due to privacy concerns. Keep in mind that just because you see someone a few days later after you've reported such an issue does not mean they "got off scott-free." We prefer to educate players first before issuing more permanent punishments, as we do want everyone to enjoy the game. But that does not mean that we tolerate cheating or exploitation of any kind.

If you are not familiar with our Penalty Volcano and how players build up actions over time, dependent on the severity of the offense, you may want to take a moment to skim our article on account penalties.

Are you simply ignoring what everyone is telling you about how this might have been done? None of which is an exploit, by the way.

Another way for that person to get the candy buckets in northrend would be to ride on someone's 2-seat rocket flyer.

These are definitely also possibilities, I'd like to add. However, I am still forwarding this information along to double-check for any possible exploits. It doesn't hurt to be safe, and I'd also appreciate it if a ticket was submitted to investigate the character in question as well. >^.~<

That's mostly a generality, Smithy. It is possible to skip steps of the Penalty Volcano, if the infraction is serious enough to warrant it. I believe this is covered in that article...

Q u o t e:
Any time a player is found in violation of our policies, we hope to give only the most minor of penalties (Warnings). However, we must also factor in the severity of the infraction and how often the player has violated our policies in the past. Based on these factors, the penalty may be moved up the Penalty Volcano, up to and including Account Closure.
