Was in a dungeon on my cloth healer and others were able to need on cloth hands with int and spirit (hunter, pally, etc).
I thought the need/greed loot system only allowed people to need on item that were a match for their armor type?
Did something change?

Actually it has to do with what i said that blizzard doenst care about low lvls. Blizzard is well aware of gear not perfectly made for low lvls but yet after 5 years they have done nothing to change it. So it is as i said.

I have a difficult time believing that we do not care about low level adventurers, Yaboo, when we are essentially dedicating an entire expansion to the revamp of original Azeroth, including new quests, new leveling zones, and re-tweaking the overall leveling experience for all players, regardless of how upgraded their account may be.

That said, if you have any constructive criticism to provide to our developers, that would be best posted in our Suggestion forums, not here where it is derailing a thread in an inflammatory way.

Back on topic, the Need Before Greed system restrictions take place once you have entered Burning Crusade instances and beyond. I believe our developers would like to expand this system to all loot come Cataclysm, as much of the game is being overhauled to be more appropriate per class and specialization. However, that question would best be addressed in our General forums, as our Community Managers who post there can act as liaisons to the developers and should be able to provide the most accurate answer.
