Faction change question.

my main is saved to 25man icc now if i faction change him to ally does it reset my raid id ? or Flexible Raid Lock System in 4.0.1 it wont reset it ?

it reset my warrior raid id befor 3 months ago so idk if still reset in 4.0.1

i need answer fast plz :)

Actually, unless you've done a Heroic mode, you're not saved to a Raid ID in the old way - you're saved as having completed certain bosses. So swapping from Alliance to Horde or Horde to Alliance doesn't need to reset that. You've done those bosses and can join any group, either faction, that has done those bosses (or more).

Now, if you've done a Heroic mode, then you're back into the more Raid ID style. And the way that was fixed to work is that you'd be assigned a completely random Raid ID on faction changing (since you couldn't regroup with the original players you'd gone with). I don't know if you could invite others to go with you, locking them out of all bosses you'd done, or if the lock would just completely block you from running again - but either way the core intention is each boss only one time per week.



In other words.

ICC 25 normal = No raid id, you are only saved to each boss that you kill. A faction change will not get rid of your progress.

ICC 25 Heroic = Raid ID applies and doing a faction change will wipe the ID.
