Still receiving e-mails after acct closure.

Hey there. I recently cancelled my acct, however, I am still receiving e-mails from Blizzard. I checked in the e-mail preferences section of the Battlenet page to make sure the box to request occasional e-mails was not checked.

I have no interest in returning to this game and would like to stop receiving e-mails about it and other Battlenet features. How do I go about getting my name and e-mail removed from the distro list, when I shouldn't be receiving e-mails in the first place?

I'm uncertain exactly what you received, Tazz, but everything should stop once your subscription runs out.

You are certain it was a genuine email from Blizzard? Lots of those go out from thieves trying to steal account information - those would be phishes.

There is a way to opt out of newsletters, but since I'm not sure what you received I'm a little in the dark here.
